Film: GRAB your fedora, crack out your whip and dust off your leather jacket – Indiana Jones is back in town this week for the first time in 18 years.
Famed archaeologist/adventurer Dr Henry 'Indiana' Jones is called back into action when he becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artefacts known as the Crystal Skulls.

Gig
PHIL BEER, one half of popular folk duo Show of Hands, returns to Lancaster University tomorrow, Saturday.

The Devonian played a semi-solo gig at the university in December in the absence of Steve Knightley and this time plays the Chaplaincy Centre in his own right.

In what will be a warm-up for a busy Show of Hands festival
season, Beer will be supported by troubadour pal Tom Palmer, the first signing to his new label.

Palmer, a songwriter from Yorkshire influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and Eric Burdon, will play songs from his new album Kickin Back.
Tickets priced £12 are available on 01524 414043.

Festival
TWO top headline acts have been booked for CultureShock – the mini-Glastonbury of North Yorkshire.

Festival organisers have lined up Boy Kill Boy to perform on the main stage on the evening of Saturday July 5.

The four piece band from London have just released their second album, Stars and the Sea, and have been championed by Radio 1 DJs like Jo Whiley and Zane Lowe. The other headline billing is the DJ duo Utah Saints. After an absence from the music industry Utah Saints gained major success with the single Something Good 08. Utah Saints will close the festival on July 5.

The festival is open to 13-19 year olds and anyone interested in attending is urged to buy a ticket in advance. Tickets cost £5. For more details go to www.cultureshockfestival.co.uk.
