WRITERS in Lancaster and Morecambe who would like to improve their technique can get along to a series of 'writing surgeries' at the Gregson Centre.
Organised by Lancaster's Spotlight Club's Ron Baker and Sarah Fiske and funded by Arts Council England, the one-to-one surgeries will help writers improve their work, while providing feedback.
The surgeries take place on Sunday, July 12 from 1pm to 3pm, Tuesday, July 21 from 12pm to 2pm and Sunday, November 22 from 7pm to 9pm.
Prior to the surgery participants will be asked to submit by email or word processed on A4 1,000 words of prose or three poems up to approximately 40 lines in length.
