The superb Northern Jazz Orchestra headlined two days of top quality jazz music in Happy Mount Park, rounding off a near-week of live jazz at fringe venues around the district.

This, the second Morecambe Jazz event, was organised by Paul Lewis and Sheila Rastelli-Lewis of Happy Mount Park Catering, and Steve Middlesbrough's Kalimba events group.
"Once again God was a jazz fan," said Steve, referring to the improved weather.
"This was a stronger event than last year and I hope next year we can make it stronger still.
"All the musicians and the sound crew were brilliant."
Musicians performing live included Mike Haywood, Blue Juice and Laura T, and TJ Sound.
