MARTIN Joseph Ward, younger son of Mr and Mrs Ward of Lancaster, and Sarah Louise Ray, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Graham of Lancaster, were married at St Paul’s Church, Lancaster.

The bridegroom is a joiner and the bride is a cashier.

Given away by Warren Ray and Kian Graham (bride’s brothers), the bride wore an ivory Alfred Angelo gown encrusted with crystals, from Kiss the Bride, and carried a bouquet of Cadbury purple roses with diamante pins.

Bridesmaids were Julie Ann Sparrow and Emma Knowles. They wore Cadbury purple floor length dresses and carried bouquets of cream and Cadbury purple roses with diamante pins.

Best man was Mr Richard Walmsley and Messrs Scott Pearson and Michael Ward (groom’s brother) were groomsmen.

Reception: The Faulkner Suite, Boot and Shoe, Lancaster.

Honeymoon: To be taken at a later date – Disneyland Paris.

Future home: Heysham.
