Priory fields are such an eyesore

IS anything going to be done by the council/police about the state of the Priory fields?

The top field is the worst afflicted by vandals; fires have been set in the grass, there is broken glass all over, the field looks like a landfill site with all the rubbish strewn about and several attempts have been made to burn the oak tree as well as some branches having been ripped off it.

The field is an absolute disgrace to the city and is right next to the city's two best features.

What must any visitors think?

I noticed today, while walking my dog, that there is now a 'burned-out' supermarket trolley on the field and a couple of ruined tents, probably someone's little darlings having an end of school camping trip – getting drunk, burning the trolley they stole to get the drink up to the field and having sex (I have seen several used condoms on my walks). Will this mess be cleaned up soon?

I doubt it. The mess will be left for all to see as they walk around what should be the most picturesque part of our city.

So, please, someone in the council clean it up and please someone in the police clamp down on these anti-social vandals and litterbugs.
