Grot spot nomination

I SEEM to remember grot spots being nominated weekly by the Lancaster Guardian?

I would dearly like to nominate a disgusting grot spot in our district.

I went for a walk starting at Middleton walking along the coast to Sunderland Point - I can only liken the first half of the walk to walking through the rubbish tip.

The whole of the area was strewn with plastic bottles, cans, tyres etc. It was absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe that we have allowed our beautiful coastline to be in such a state and will be contacting friends of Sunderland point to see if we can do something about it.
