BIRKETT - Peacefully at home on Thursday, 9th February 2012 SYDNEY GEORGE aged 91 years. Dear husband of Dorothy, a very dear dad, grandad and great grandad, brother and uncle. Funeral service at Christ Church, Carnforth and interment at Carnforth Cemetery took place on Wednesday, 15th February 2012. The family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their help, kindness and support over the last few months. Thanks also to doctors and district nurses at Ash Trees and the caring staff at St Gregory's, all at Alan Fawcett's for dignified arrangements and Father Chris Holden for the comforting service.
