1. What is your earliest recollection?
As a four-year-old carrying out repairs on my pedal car in the backyard.

2. What was your first job?
I worked as an ice cream seller aged 14 during the school holidays.

3. Happiest memory?
Birth of our little girl and my wedding day.

4. Biggest regret?
Not making it as a professional footballer.

5. Favourite song or artist?
The Jam/Paul Weller.

6. Most-thumbed book?
Paul McGrath's autobiography.

7. Website most often visited?
Sky Sports.

8. Best-loved food?
Seabass with a little garlic.

9. What's your tipple?
Guinness.

10. What's your must-watch TV programme?
Porridge, Grand Designs or Lazytown when my little girl beats me to the remote.

11. A film not to be missed?
Grease.

12. Top holiday destination?
Disneyworld in Florida.

13. Which football team's result do you look for first on Saturday?
Burnley (then Preston to see if they've got beat).

14. Favourite car?
Mercedes SLK McClaren.

15. Pet, past or present?
Billycat (RIP).

16. Favourite perfume or aftershave?
Lacoste.

17. Which personality would you most like to meet?
Ronnie Barker (a funny gentleman).

18. Biggest influence on your life so far?
The joiners I served my apprenticeship with. Good characters and tradesmen.

19. What difference would a lottery win make to you?
Well £10 would buy a round of drinks, win the big one then it's happy days.

20. What would be your dream job?
Premier League footballer, a little work for a lot of money.
