1. What is your earliest recollection?
Growing up on the family farm, helping to feed the lambs and calves, and of course, haytime.
2. What was your first job?
Helping to deliver fresh milk to local villages, early on a Saturday morning for pocket money.
3. Happiest memory?
Getting married to Jim and having all our family and friends share our wedding day.
4. Biggest regret?
None – all my experiences have made me stronger.
5. Favourite song or artist?
Kate Rusby – The Village Green Preservation Society.
6. Most-thumbed book?
My school recipe book. I've added many more recipes over the years.
7. Website most often visited?
My own – ruralfootprints.co.uk.
8. Best-loved food?
Anything cooked by my Masterchef husband, but especially fillet steak with his pepper sauce.
9. What's your tipple?
Australian red wine; Pinot Noir is my favourite.
10. What's your must-watch TV programme?
Desperate Housewives – everything is not always as it seems.
11. A film not to be missed?
Whistle Down the Wind – the story of three Lancashire farm children who discover a fugitive hiding in their barn, and, believing him to be Jesus, hide him from the police.
12. Top holiday destination?
Isle of Islay – unspoilt deserted beaches, plenty of whiskey distilleries, perfect for walking and relaxing.
13. Which football team's result do you look for first on Saturday?
None! I prefer to take part in sport rather than watching it. Walking, running, horse-riding and ski-ing.
14. Favourite car?
My VW Golf TDi – very reliable and economical, sadly sold a few years ago.
15. Pet, past or present?
Two faithful dogs and also two cats.
16. Favourite perfume or aftershave?
Clinique Happy for women – a fresh, light fragrance.
17. Which personality would you most like to meet?
Ben Fogle and his dog Inca – I have been a fan since Castaway 2000.
18. Biggest influence on your life so far?
My parents – they have built up a successful business from scratch, through hard work and determination, while always being there for our family.
19. What difference would a lottery win make to you?
It would pay the ever soaring bills and allow a few treats for my family and friends too!
20. What would be your dream job?
I have it – guiding walks in and around the Lune Valley; being out in the fresh air in beautiful countryside.
