TWO men have been arrested in connection with an incident at Settle Railway Station that led to a train guard allegedly being threatened with an air rifle.
Two men were seen to become rowdy at Settle station on April 19 after a guard refused to let them on a train.

The guard was later threatened at Horton-in-Ribblesdale Station by two men, thought to be the same pair, with what appeared to be an air rifle.

The two men, a 22-year-old from Horton-in-Ribblesdale and an 18-year-old man from Hellifield, Skipton, were interviewed in connection with the incidents by British Transport Police (BTP) on Saturday.

Both men have been released on police bail pending further enquiries to return to BTP on May 31.
