POLICE are appealing for information concerning the relatives of a Peter Hitt who has been found dead.
Police have been unable to trace any of Mr Hitt's relatives and want anyone who thinks they may have known Peter, or the current location of his family, to come forward.

There is a possibility that Mr Hitt had friends or relatives in Lancaster and Morecambe as Peter is known to have lived here for many years.

Mr Hitt had been living rough in Preston and appears to have lost contact with his family. He was found dead in a sleeping bag in the city's Moor Park on May 31. His death isn't suspicious.

* Anyone with information on Peter's relatives and how to contact them, should ring Preston Police on 01772 203203.
