A GRAFFITI artist was busy at work in Lancaster last week.
These two 'artworks' appeared on the side of Lancaster Royal Grammar School and on premises in King Street. Last month graffiti was daubed on the side of a shop just off Ullswater Road, Freehold.

We're interested in finding out who the graffiti artist is for a possible feature in the paper.

Before all the whingers start i would agree that whilst Graffiti can be unsightly, if of poor quality, it is also a valid art form to others. We only have to look up the legendary 'Banksy' who's work is now upheld in areas where he paints and councils refuse to paint over his pieces. Even increasing the value of the properties he 'performs' on.

Every town should have a location (wall) where graffiti should be made legal. Maybe a little encouragement from Lancaster council and we could see our very own 'Banksy' in a few years.

These are great!! Fairplay to the artist he/she has got to be admired for the sheer guts of the locations. P.S. Notice you haven't spotted the work of art next to the railway line a bit further down from the university! Keep up the good work!!
