Biker in crash now stable

A 49-year-old motorcyclist who was bady injured in a crash in Market Street, Carnforth on Tuesday night is now stable in hospital.
The biker sustained three fractures to his right shoulder, an open break to his right leg and minor lacerations and bruising to his face in a collision with a car, which occured at around 8.20pm.

He will be detained at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for the forseeable future. The driver of the car, a woman from Liverpool, was taken to the RLI as a precaution after the incident.
